Privacy

Canada Citizenship Test Practice is a free citizenship test practice website. We built it to respect your privacy. In short: we do not collect your personal information.

No accounts

You never need to sign up, log in, or give us your name or email address to use this site.

No cookies, analytics, ads or tracking

This site does not set cookies. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, tracking pixels or third-party scripts that follow you around the web. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page does not send requests to outside font services.

Your progress stays on your device

Your scores, points, badges and study progress are saved only in your own browser, using a standard feature called localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. If you clear your browser data, or use a different browser or device, your progress will not be there.

You can choose to download a backup file of your progress and restore it later. That file is saved wherever you put it, and only you control it.

Offline use

The site uses a service worker to store the site's files in your browser's cache, so the practice tests keep working without an internet connection. This cache contains only the website itself, not any information about you. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Hosting

Like any website, the server that delivers our pages may process basic technical information, such as your IP address, to send the page to your browser. We do not use this to identify or profile you.

Not a government website

Canada Citizenship Test Practice is independent and is not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada.
